Avocado (Persea americana) is a tree native of Central and South America. The name covers both the tree and the fruit pear-shaped. Subtropical avocado tree grows up to 20 meters and about 120 fruits annually. The fruits have a length ranging from 7 to 20 cm, with a large stone in the middle.
